The problem with fairy tale is that they set the girl up for disappointment. Because in real life, the prince goes off with the wrong princess.

You may say that it is oh-so-very-naive and unrealistic of me to think that fairy tales exist in real life. But I say, is it really that difficult? Which girl or which women wouldn't want a fairy tale that they could call their own? You don't have to go around slaying dragons and rescue her from the highest tower. All you have to be, is her only knight in shining armor who sweeps her off her feet. Someone who treats her like a princess. Be a little romantic. Be a little unexpected. Be a little charming. Be a little... irrational...

And I realised this is especially true when I tried forcing Max out of my life. I tried to blame all my frustrations in life on him. Only to realise that, he is everywhere I go. I can force him out of my life. But, I couldn't force him out of my heart...

Because those people were struggling nervously to express how they really feel for someone.

Now, people say, "I Love You" all the time.

It has become a common gesture rather than an expression of how they feel.

"Love" has almost lost its value. Because it comes to easy.

This, is really LOVE. Not just some guy randomly saying he would give up his life for her.

This guy was my classmate. A very shy guy who looked at her from afar. Finally, when he gathered his courage to ask her out, she agreed. That made him smile the entire day. Most of us in class knew about this because it was a very big deal as he was the quiet type... 


Isn't these the things which puts a smile on your face and make you go "awwwwww~~~" ???

Sacrifice

Everyone makes sacrifices for the ones they love.

I learnt that sacrifices which he made may seem like nothing to me, but actually he gave up his world FOR ME.

e.g. He/she who is an enthusiastic gamer gives up playing games to spend more time with you. He/she gave up his/her world for you. If you are a gamer, you will know that it is a very big sacrifice.

But people on the other side, people like me, is always expecting more. It is not because I don't appreciate what he did but sometimes, it is hard to see what is on the other side.

Only when I lie down to sleep, thinking about him, only do I realise what and how much he has done for me.

All in all, I learn to appreciate him more and whenever I feel angry or annoyed at him, I reminisce what he has done to make me the happiest person while being with him.

I must have done something right...afterall...

My "Mr.Miyagi" (my boyfriend just got his black belt for karate) came to my house today. Since he was busy playing poker on facebook, I went and take a nap. What happened next... Might be something regular to any of you but to me... I was so happy and touched.

He made me dinner (however, his fried egg was a little out of shape). Although simple, but I was very happy. And guess what? He hung my clothes out to dry. Then, he washed the pan and plates. And after all that, he rushed to his karate lesson. He did all that when I was sleeping like a pig. And it is not even Valentine's Day.

I guess I really did do something right after all. (T.T) *touched*
